The kitchen holds significant importance in Vaastu, as it is where various energies converge and affect the well-being of the household. Follow these essential Vaastu tips for a harmonious kitchen:

• The ideal location for the kitchen is in the South-east, governed by the element Fire. Alternatively, the North-west can be considered, but avoid other directions.
• Place the cooking gas or stove in the South-east corner, ensuring that the person cooking faces East.
• Kitchens in the north quadrant may adversely affect the health of female members.
• Position the water sink in the North-east corner, at a maximum distance from the cooking gas.
• Larger windows should be on the Eastern side of the kitchen, while small ventilators should be placed in the South.
• Ensure water storage and taps are provisioned in the North-east of the kitchen.
• Avoid placing the dining table in the center of the kitchen; instead, locate it in the North-west direction.
• Place the sink in the Northeast corner of the kitchen.
• Electric equipment like microwave, oven, or refrigerator should be placed in the South-west.
• Ensure the slope of the water flow is from Southwest towards Northeast.
• Position the cylinder in the Southeast corner and the geyser on the Southeast side.
• Storage for food grains, utensils, and overhead almirah should be on the Southern and Western walls, avoiding the Northern and Eastern walls.
